The Second Interview = Accepted!!!

I received an email the other day asking me to schedule a second interview for the Conservation Education Presenter Internship! I emailed back the dates I would be available, but I was more nervous for this interview than the first one! I had no clue what they were going to ask me. They called and basically reviewed questions that I had answered as part of my online portion of the application. Was I currently enrolled and taking at least one class in a University or recently graduated? Will you be able to provide your own transportation? Have you ever been convicted of a crime? Are you able to provide documentation proving that you are eligible to work in the United States? Are you able to comply with the "Disney Look"? Do you have any tattoos? Basically all yes or no questions. At the end, she offered me the position! I was (and still am) supper ecstatic! I accepted and she said that she'd be able to take care of switching my acceptance of the Disney College Program over the the Professional Internship, so that was great! What a fantastic early birthday present! I can't wait until move-in day!

  1. Congratulations! You must be thrilled beyond belief! I came across your blog while researching Disney's Professional Internship program. Do you have an email address? I'd love to talk about the programs!

  3. Hi Devin! I'm not sure if you still use this blog at all, but if so could you expand on what they consider the "Disney Look?" I have a tattoo but is easily concealed with longer shirt sleeves. I have my first interview today and really want the internship but don't want to get my hopes up if they are just going to deny me because of a tattoo I can cover. Did your interviewer specify the tattoo requirements? Thanks!

  4. Hello,
I'm not sure if they've updated the Disney Look recently or not, but I can help answer some of your questions. As long as your tattoo can be concealed you're good to go. You usually have the option to wear long or short sleeves for your costume, so you'll just have to choose the appropriate option to cover your tattoo. They'll ask you during the interview process too if you have a tattoo and will explain what to do if you do. If you have any questions about it, I'm sure your interviewer would be more than happy to answer them! I know quite a few people who work at Disney have tattoos, so I wouldn't worry about it! I hope your interview went well! What position are you applying for?
